Quality Assurance & Accreditation in Higher Education: The Conference is focused to bring together representatives of higher education institutions, accreditation agencies and quality assurance experts to exchange knowledge and best practice on how to build effective quality assurance system. The program will include plenary session with keynote speeches by directors of quality assurance agencies and workshops on several topics related to accreditation and quality assurance. Quality Assurance & Innovation in Higher Education Innovation in Higher Education aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Innovation in Higher Education. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered, and solutions adopted in the fields of Innovation in Higher Education. Expected outcomes The following are the expected outcomes of the conference: Participants would have deepened their understanding of the current status , challenges, opportunities and prospects in quality assurance , Accreditation & Innovation in higher education in Africa. Participants capacity would have been developed to be change agents in the implementation of an agenda of improving quality in higher education in Africa for global competitiveness. Blueprint developed/proposed for supporting the implementation of accreditation and quality enhancement reforms, frameworks, and programmes at national, region al and continental levels. Skills of quality assurance practitioners for national quality assurance agencies enhanced and networking opportunities created Documentation available on the various initiatives on accreditation and quality assurance enriched and expanded; and Communiqué reflecting the conclusions and action plan arising from the debates and deliberations of the conference.
